Unique 70's post and beam, open plan, high ceilings, sense of openness
and warmth with natural wood and colorful stainglass windows and the
beauty of the forest coming in through many windows.

Set well off the road on 1.5 naturally wooded acres, with mt. park cliffs to the north,
the farming valley below and Village Bay to the west, it has much privacy
and feels cozy yet open in the woods.

The house has a complete kitchen, a full bathroom with custom bathtub, a large bedroom with
door to the outside, a private bathroom w/shower, king size bed, double bed; a smaller bedroom
w/ a queen size bed and door to outside deck, the main floor is an open plan with a loft and built in window seats
which could be used for additional sleeping places.

I believe this house is ideal for anyone seeking a retreat.
Because of its' openness I also think it would be ideal for a small group workshop or retreat.

This house is my home and has been the place where I have recovered my health and found
my new life following the death of my husband, Keith de Coursey (who built the house).
It is also the home of KandShuggers; (our original designs on fabric)
I am interested in availing it to those who need a quiet, restorative, creative and safe place.

Here are the suggested rates for July, August, and September based on double occupancy:

Weekend: Friday-Sunday (2 nights) -----$195.00
Weekdays: Sunday-Friday (5 nights) -----$450.00
All Week Long: FridayFriday (7 nights) ------$600.00

* each additional guest, $10.00 per day.
* a deposit is required to reserve,payment due apon arrival
* i'm sorry the house is not suitable for small children and is not wheelchair friendly.
* there are 2 sister cats who are permanent residents.
* the house will be available for longer term rentals come September.
